Homework: 

• Read the remaining chapters of Holes, 45-50. 
• Complete the Article of the Week (with poem pairing)

Opening:

1. Discuss the terms transition and dissolve.

2. Watch a brief clip and answer pg. 245 in the SB.

Work Period:

3. Begin watching clips of the flashbacks about Kissing Kate.

4. Fill out the graphic organizer for each clip.

5. Answer the questions about the flashback transitions.

6. In clip 3 listen to the lyrics of the song and answer questions 2 and 3 on pg. 247.

Closing:

7. We will watch as many clips until the end of the period.

8. You will turn in your SB, class journals, and the book mark.
