  • Understand point of view of different characters.
  • Use RAFT to draft a letter.

Opening:
1.     We will review our T-Charts and share with our groups/ whole class.
2.     Have a class discussion on Holes, give our thoughts.

Work Period:
3.     Reread #6 on pg. 251 in the Spring Board book.
4.     Begin to fill in the chart on pg. 252.
a.     List important incidents in the novel.
b.     Make sure to list page numbers.
c.     List why it is important and who would write about it.
5.     As a group list all of your incidents in chronological order.
6.     Share your timeline with the class.

Closing:
HOMEWORK
7.     Choose one of the incidents that you want to write about.
8.     Fill in the charts on pg. 252.

9.     Begin drafting your letters.
