Opening
1. Open Springboard book to page 214 and show completed letter.
2. Share a few letters with class.
Working Period
3. Review terms internal/external and reflection.
4. Discuss how Walter’s internal and external personas are alike and different.
5. On a white sheet of paper create a visual representation of your own internal and external personas.
a. On the outside draw a picture of how others see you.
b. On the inside draw how you see yourself.
c. Name each drawing by the name you feel represents each person.
Closing:
6. In your class notebook write a reflection on the differences and similarities between your internal and external self.
- This will be homework if you do not finish it.
