Opening:1. Please walk around the room and find another student to share you paragraph ("My Setting") with.

2. Would anyone like to share aloud to the whole class?

Previewing the Next Few Days of Reading:
By tomorrow: 18-19 (with TWO DEJ entries - 3 Levels of Questions for each chapter)
By Monday: 20-21 (with TWO DEJ entries - 3 Levels of Questions for each chapter)


Work Period:3. New Partner in your Pod - Get online and CREATE A STICKY with BOTH names on it.

4. Teacher Led Discussion: Review Literary Analysis online (2.8)

• Highlight key ideas and details in that section as I talk through the main ideas.

5. Practice Writing Questions at each level with your partner (#1)

• Transfer your favorites onto sentence strips:
• Red: Level 1
• Yellow: Level 2
• Green: Level 3

6. Review levels and clarify.  Answer #2 for additional practice.
